生活英語 - 假期症候群篇
Joshua：hi, Lilian, why do you look so tired? Didn’t you get enough sleep during the New
　　　　 Year vacation? Or is it Monday Blues?
Lilian：Not exactly. I hanged out a lot, with family and friends. I almost went out everyday.
　　　　How can I get any rest from it?
Joshua：Then why didn’t you just reject them and tell them that you want some rest?
Lilian：I can’t say no. most of my friends are busy somewhere else in daily life, and this
　　　 vacation is the only time that we can get together after graduation. And family…
　　　 (sigh), you know, it’s just the season of reunion.
Joshua：I can’t agree with you more. Getting together is just a part of keeping a relationship
　　　　 alive. We’ll just have to get used to it.
Lilian：I know. That’s why I am still so tired after the nine-day vacation. But you look so
　　　 refreshing!
Joshua：That’s probably because that I slept well, at well and stayed home throughout the
　　　　 vacation. Lilian：I’ll keep that in mind!
George：I have no idea. Where do you want to go to?

約書華：嗨，莉莉安。你為什麼看起來這麼累?你在年假裡還睡不夠多嗎?還是是放假症候群呢?
莉莉安：不儘然是。我和我的家人以及朋友一直出去。我幾乎每天都要出門。我怎麼可能有足
　　　　 夠的休息呢?
約書華：那你為什麼不拒絕他們，告訴他們你想休息呢?
莉莉安：我沒辦法拒絕啊! 我大部分的朋友平日都在各處忙碌，這一個假期是我們唯一在畢業
　　　　 之後可以聚在一起的時間。至於家人…(嘆氣)…你也知道，這是個團聚的季節。
約書華：我非常的認同。聚會就是要讓情誼長存的一部份。我們只好習慣吧!
莉莉安：我也知道啊，這就是為什麼我放了九天假還這麼累的原因!但你看起來真是神清氣爽!
約書華：大概是因為我睡得好，吃的好，一整個假期都待在家裡的關係吧。
莉莉安：我會好好記住的!
