Mike：What's up, Amanda. Hey, what are you doing tomorrow night?
Amanda：I'll be working. What's up?
Mike：I'm thinking about buying a new MP3 player in NOVA. Do you think you can go
　　　 there with me some other day and help me get some discount?
Amanda：I'd love to. What kind of MP3 player do you like? Do you have anything in mind?
Mike：Actually, no. I just want to buy a cheaper one which has the basic functions.
Amanda：What's your budget?
Mike：Something between 1 and 2 thousand dollars. I juts want to listen to music while I'm
　　　 exercising.
Amanda：Ok. Do you care a lot about audio effects?
Mike：Not really. Just a plain one.
Amanda：I suggest you to go on-line and check if there's anything you like. Do you know the
　　　　 Yahoo! auction? I believe they usually have a lower price than the marker price.
Mike：It' too much of work. Why can't I just buy one in NOVA and ask them to give me a
　 　 discount.
Amanda：Of course you can. It's up to you. But as a saying goes, “no pains, no gains.”

麥克：嘿，阿曼達。你明天晚上有空嗎？
阿曼達：上班啊。怎麼啦？
麥克：我想要去NOVA買一個新的MP3播放器。你改天可以跟我ㄧ起去，然後幫我殺價嗎？
阿曼達：沒問題啊。你喜歡哪一種MP3呢？有任何想法嗎？
麥克：事實上，沒有。我想要買一台便宜一點，有基本功能的就可以了。
阿曼達：預算大概是多少呢？
麥克：一兩千塊之間吧，我只是要在運動的時候可以聽音樂就好了。
阿曼達：好，那你很在意音效嗎？
麥克：還好，就最陽春的就可以了。
阿曼達：我建議你先上網看看有沒有你喜歡的。你聽過奇摩拍賣嗎？大不份的東西都比市價便宜
　　　　 一點。
麥克：太麻煩了，為什麼我不能直接去NOVA買然後叫她們給我打折哩？
阿曼達：當然可以啊，看你囉，但是俗話說的好「天下沒有白吃的午餐」。
